Collaboration

If there’s one thing to be said about the paper flower community, it’s that we often help each other. I’m lucky to have collaborators on my latest DIY paper flower course featuring paper roses and paper tulips with alcohol ink.

First, Michelle at Rose Mille. She and I chatted several months ago and discovered a mutual affinity for making it as easy as possible to create paper flowers at home on your own time and even if you didn’t live near a store that sold the supplies. Michelle is  in Minnesota with a beautiful storefront and she also creates paper kits, one for each course I make. This means anyone can order supplies that go exactly with each course! How’s that for a fab collab!

The second major collaboration is with my friend Gayle who runs an Etsy shop called Bloomin’ Paper Petals! Gayle lives in Texas and recently experienced a template crisis. See, Gayle works in card stock, and working free hand with crepe was really daunting for her. She asked if she could create downloadable and printable templates and SVG files for my course. You better believe I said yes!

When you can work directly with other women in business, it empowers everyone involved. I’m happy to collaborate and look forward to sharing more artist collaborations with you!

The finished product from the course! 10 paper roses and 14 paper tulips dyed with alcohol inks.
