Ordered from one friend to gift another during a period of care. I wanted the feeling to be soft, almost gentle. My inspiration from Longwood Gardens.
For the petals, I used 32 gram single-ply crepe fashioned into doublette by gluing with school glue (more like a paste). The wetness of the paste discolored the paper, and I liked it. For the foliage, a dusty miller, I used four layers of gray 32 gram crepe paper -- I call it quadrette! The leaves are single-ply floristic crepe from Lia Griffith that I made into doublette.
Materials sourced from Fiddlehead Artisan Supply and Lia Griffith.
